Allow the flame to die down and it will gently smolder away, it will completely burn itself out releasing the perfume of the resins and oils in the paper. The paper incense strip should turn into ash.
You can also use the strips to perfume clothing, place one or more strips of paper in drawers or closets, in bags, suitcases, and so on.
HISTORY
The history of the Aromatic Incense Papers of Eritrea began in 1927. Dr. Victor Casanova, a pharmacist, during a trip to Eritrea and Somalia became aware of the use of resins and natural essences to perfume and purify the palaces of North Africa. Back in Italy, Dr. Casanova formulated a paper incense of Aromatic Eritrea, whose composition has remained unchanged to this day. Also, the heritage method of manufacturing remains the same, and essences and resins are still exclusively imported from Asian and African countries. These rare, natural ingredients are pulverized by hand using a mortar and pestle, dissolved in pure alcohol, and combined with essential oils. The traditional paper is soaked in the fragrant blend and left to steep for several days, then the sheets are painstakingly dried and cut to create the historical booklets or librettos of 24 sheets, ready to spread their delicate scent and create an extraordinary ambiance in the home.
