Back in Italy, Dr. Casanova formulated a paper incense of Aromatic Eritrea, whose composition has remained unchanged to this day. Also, the heritage method of manufacturing remains the same, and essences and resins are still exclusively imported from Asian and African countries. These rare, natural ingredients are pulverized by hand using a mortar and pestle, dissolved in pure alcohol, and combined with essential oils. The traditional paper is soaked in the fragrant blend and left to steep for several days, then the sheets are painstakingly dried and cut to create the historical booklets or librettos of 24 sheets, ready to spread their delicate scent and create an extraordinary ambiance in the home.
