Anil in baths is an old-school remedy found in many Caribbean and Latin households. Anil (azulillo or azulete) is a popular tool and spiritual ingredient. A home without anil is like a home without a stove. Anil is a powerful ingredient when making blue water for the Orishas Yemaya or Olokun. Anil powder is used to make "afoshe" or powder of Yemanja, which is used to bless people in the name of Yemaya or Olokun. Anil's energy is considered to help remove cross conditions, jinxes, evil eyes, and negative patterns. Anil, when used on the body, promotes peace and rids the body and aura of the evil eye, jinxes, evil, and negative energy.

This soap imported from Jamacia is considered a protective layer after a regular bath/shower. Soap has a fresh scent, leaving the body feeling lighter and calmer. The color light blue in this soap is the color of the ocean, which symbolizes truth and provides direct protection against the evil eye. The evil eye is a curse believed to be cast by a malevolent glare, usually given to a person when they are unaware. Many cultures believe that receiving an evil eye will cause misfortune or injury.

A small amount of the bluing is added to water with a few dashes of Florida Water, Kananga, or Pompeia Lotion to prepare baths and perfumes. This bluing is mixed in a water basin, and perfumes are added to wash the floor and prepare baths. Use this añil or laundry bluing to cleanse your living and working spaces.

Spiritism is a religious tradition that originated in the Caribbean in the 19th century and combines elements of Christianity, African spirituality, and the spiritualist movement. It is a syncretic tradition that recognizes the existence of a spiritual world and the ability of humans to communicate with spirits and seek their guidance.

The anil powder used in this soap has an indigo-blue color that can build the astral nature of the person, place, or thing to which it is applied. It is used for a deep aura cleansing, to cleanse negative energies, such as envy and evil eye, and to clean objects and environments. It is recommended as a purifying agent for bad luck and to prepare magic circles, energy defenses, and other protections.

Spiritism is based on the belief that the spirit of a deceased person can be contacted and communicated with through a medium. Mediumship, or the ability to communicate with spirits, is considered a gift that can be developed through practice and discipline.

GENTLE ON HAND AND SKIN: This soap is made only from vegetable oils and contains no harsh synthetic ingredients. It's gentle on your hands and skin.

In Spiritism, spirits are believed to be able to provide guidance and insight to those who seek their help, and spiritist practices often involve seeking the assistance of spirits to resolve problems or seek enlightenment. Spiritism is also believed to be a way to connect with the divine and gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual world.

Spiritism strongly emphasizes ethics and morality, and practitioners are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that includes honesty, respect, and compassion. Spiritism is also a communal tradition, with practitioners gathering in groups to hold spiritist sessions and participate in rituals and ceremonies.

Spiritism has had a significant influence on the spiritual landscape of the Caribbean and has contributed to the development of other Afro-Caribbean religions, such as Santería and Vodou. It is a vibrant and dynamic tradition that continues to be practiced by many people in the Caribbean and other parts of the Caribbean.
